I just noticed the date on my last update....sorry for not getting here sooner! I am happy to see Dr-Extreme online again (was down during server transfer for 5 days due to missing a table in the move). Unfortunately our forum and support center are still not working properly, also due to the transfer. Both are currently still being worked on, so please bare with me. I am tring to get all issues sorted/fixed ASAP! ok, onto another update, I was thinking of joining another publisher's intext advertising site, and wanted to see if anyone had any comments on this one. Here is a quote from their home page:
In 1982, to increase the sagging sales for Reese’s Pieces, Hershey’s accepted a product placement deal in Steven Spielberg’s “E.T.”. After Elliot used Reese’s Pieces to lure E.T. from his hiding place, Reese’s Pieces experienced a 65% increase in sales and succeeded in reinvigorating the brand. Though this wasn’t the first case of product placement, it is one of the best examples of increasing sales and supporting brand marketing objectives through contextually relevant product placement. Like product placement in movies and TV programs, In-Text Advertising is online product placement based on the contextual relevancy between an advertiser’s brand and online content. With In-Text Advertising, the advertiser’s brand is linked to a relevant keyword appearing in the online content which is matched to the advertiser’s ad. Kontera’s proprietary technology consists of a series of algorithms which analyze the online content in real-time and select the keywords and topics that are most relevant to the reader.
I havent seen this one before, but looking it over, I am thinking of applying. The only thing I can't seem to find in any terms or FAQ's is when they payout and at what amount minimum. One thing I did find in their terms:
No Incentives to Click on ContentLinks™ Web pages may not include incentives of any kind for users to click on the ContentLinks™ ads.
So I am going have to get my blog out there more! I wouldn't be able to utilize this contract on my paid to click sites. Although I could use my blog for code placement. What do you think? I did find in their terms that the site used for application would need 500,000 page views per month. I have advertisment means to get my blog up into those numbers. Should I try to apply? Do you know how much their payout per month is? If you have any information on this site please let me know. Thanks (website: www.kontera.com
